The Hague System: Geneva Act & Roles of the Office of a Contracting Party ARISE+ IPR Recorded Webinar EN 20 min Industrial Designs ARISE+ IPR External Expert Mr. Ernesto Rubio begins the webinar with the introduction to the Geneva Act (1999 Act) of the Hague Agreement, which governs the Hague System for the International Registration of Industrial Designs. He moves on to the benefits and operation of the Hague system. The latter part of the webinar focuses on the role of IP Offices as Office of the applicants’ Contracting Party (ACP) and as Office of a designated Contracting Party (DCP).

The Geneva Act: A Roadmap Towards Accession ARISE+ IPR Recorded Webinar EN 28 min Industrial Designs The webinar on the accession to the Geneva Act of the Hague Agreement presented by Mr. Ernesto Rubio, ARISE+ IPR External Expert, aims to lay the foundation for the countries interested in becoming a party to the Geneva Act. The preparatory work covers those in legal area, mandatory and optional declarations made by Contracting Parties to the Geneva Act, as well as those regarding organisation and procedures, IT, and community information and promotion.

EN 27 min Industrial Designs In the first session of the ARISE+ IPR online training on new types of designs and international classification, EUIPO expert Stephan Hanne begins by introducing us to several characteristics of the new types of designs and their distinctions. The expert also presents some statistics related to the registration of these designs and the common legal issues. 
Classification and available Search Databases ARISE+ IPR Training Module EN 26 min Industrial Designs In the second session of the ARISE+ IPR online training on new types of designs and international classification, EUIPO expert Kelly Bennett presents product indications and classification practices at the EUIPO. The expert gives several examples of products that embody industrial designs and the indications of these products. The presentation also covered the classification of new types of designs, including icons, projected images, holographics, displays, get-up, virtual space, etc.
