Creative ASEAN 2018

Further to the success of former edition, ARISE+ IPR will support the Creative ASEAN Furniture Design Contest 2018. The national phase will completed with the selection of five finalists per country. One winner per country will be selected by the Regional Jury in August 2018 and the winning designs will be exhibited at the STYLE Bangkok Furniture Fair 2018, taking place on 17-21 October, 2018, Bangkok, Thailand. As part of the prize, the winners of the ASEAN Furniture Design Contest will be also awarded with a study visit in a well-known furniture design company in ASEAN by end of 2018, to interact with senior furniture designers and gain a good understanding of the design registration processes in ASEAN and abroad, and enhance their furniture designing skills by learning new techniques from artisans.
