Integration into TMClass and HBD terms translation into Georgian

As of 13 July 2020, Georgian speaking users can search for terms in their own language on the European Union Intellectual Property Office’s (EUIPO) Harmonised Database (HDB). The Harmonised Database contains more than 70 000 terms from which users can select the goods and services for their trade mark applications. As it is used in the EUIPO’s online trade mark registration process, picking a term from the Harmonised Database will increase the chance of acceptance of trade mark applications.

This is the result of a joint effort and fruitful cooperation between the EUIPO and the National Intellectual Property Centre of Georgia (Sakpatenti). The translation of terms has been financed by the EU-funded project EUGIPP (EU-Georgia Intellectual Property Project) to support Sakpatenti.
